I will be giving information over the next 5 days on a healthy way to eat for more wellness and allowing your body to have a break from the inflammatory-healthy destroying-substance of SUGAR and PROCESSED CARBS for the next 5 Days Starting Wed. July 6th!!!

Here are the rules if you want to partake (and yes we are doing this over a weekend, so make sure your committed):

  • Nothing overly PROCESSED (No cookies, breads, crackers, ice cream, candy, chips, you know.... all the stuff you might have eaten over July 4th weekend).

  • If it contains added sugar, AVOID IT. Start reading labels. There is so much sugar hidden if you don't start watching out for it. Try to even go without honey or agave.

  • All Green or cruciferous Veggies UNLIMITED

  • Fresh Berries are ok (high in fiber and lower in glycemic index): limit to 2 servings per day (3/4-1 cup each serving)

  • 3-5 Servings of PROTEIN: most don't eat enough protein. I like to say a general rule of thumb is at least half your body weight in GRAMS of Protein. SO READ and BE MINDFUL of your protein intake. Eggs, organic grass fed beef, organic chicken, wild caught salmon, fish, or tuna are good examples.

  • Eat Healthy Fats!! Eat 2-3 servings per day. (I will be discussing more on this over the next five days)

  • Let's focus on some Carb Cycling too. (still consume zero in processed sugar/ starches) Every other day you can do more healthy complex carbohydrates (quinoa, oatmeal, sweet potato, whole grain). I will be discussing this too!! So many are utterly confused with carbs and whether to eat them or not.

  • Try to go without Dairy too (much has sugar or is processed).

  • 1 gallon of water per day!

  • sorry, but no alcohol!!! YOU CAN DO THIS! Give your liver a break!

  • Mindfulness LIFESTYLE activities!!! Moving and Breathing daily!!! Can't wait to share more on this!!

 

So basically you will be focusing on WHOLE FOODS!! What you should be focusing on anyways. No sugar, no alcohol, no processed foods, and no CRAPPY FOODS!!!!

I will be guiding you on health principles, healthy ideas and recipe swaps!!! If you don't want or need this, don't mind my posts over the next 5 days, you may pick up an idea or two from the side lines!!!
